Effective June 17, 2006 all customers in the 613 and 519 region will need to dial 10 digits when making local calls. Therefore, Internet Dialup customers will need to
change the dialup number in their connection configuration to include the area code. The ability to dial local calls with 10 digits is available now and we suggest you change your connection configuration as soon as possible.
For example, if you are a Dialup customer in the Barrie area, your modem dials 7211638. You will need to update this to 7057211638.
If you require help with this change, please contact our Technical Support staff at 1-877-962-1399.
